Logistics Operative (must hold a driving licence) – Warehouse / Logistics

Location: Weston-Super-Mare
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £15.50 - £16.50 per hour
Contract: Temp-to-Perm, Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting a motivated Logistics Operative with a valid Driving Licence to join our client’s manufacturing team. This is a key operational role, supporting daily warehouse and logistics activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the receiving, unloading, storing, and dispatching of goods
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring accuracy and care of stock
• Support picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as required
• Maintain accurate stock records and report any discrepancies
• Ensure all warehouse areas comply with Health & Safety regulations
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines

About You

• Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred) would be an advantage
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills for stock control systems
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Strong awareness of health & safety in a warehouse setting
